                                             RESPECT MY AUTHORITY
I would say that a authority figure could be a mom, dad, teacher, or even police officer or anything else. But the way I would describe a authority figure is to support myself to try to be the best. Also that they will be there for everything. Also the fact that they will try everyday to make you feel better about who you are. Also I see this saying that says that there is no other person in this planet that could look like you or be you. And just seeing this makes me feel so much better like you are unique and that you are worth it. Also that there is only one you just one. Like sometimes I feel that the year we live in, people are so judgmental. They talk without knowing. On Instagram I saw a girl post this "SOCIETY: Be yourself , SOCIETY: Not like that " I thought that it was so true. I would say my mom is one of the best authority figures because even though she works hard everyday she still tries to communicate with me everyday no matter what even if she is dead tired. I know that because every weekend or when we eat or something she tells me to work hard for everything. Even before she leaves work at 5 in the morning she tells me to behave in school and respect my teachers.I personally think that everybody should have a authority figure.

                                                           My Yoda
My ideal mentor would be a person that when I ask a certain question won't think that I'm stupid for asking that certain question. Also a person I feel will give me a honest opinion and answer fully their thought to my question to the question that I'm asking. Also I remember that I would have mentors that would just sit around and not ask a single thing but would just sit around.

                                             First Impression of The Pedestrian
For some reason I think everything we have read so far in class seems like the character is dreaming. But also I thought that the story started off so mysterious. What I also thought was sketchy was that in the story I also noticed that there are 3 words that describe death in the introduction to the story. I feel like this story is going to be really odd.

                                               Observation to Literature Book
The book I'm reading is Taking Hold by Francisco Jimenez. So far by the character which is also the author, well he is a really hard worker. He is so determined to keep on going no  matter how many obstacles are in his way. He is also a very strong young man he was 23 years old during that time. But I noticed that at times he was very sad and depressed and me myself reading the book got depressed at some times in the story. A main part of the story I remember is that he left his mother, girlfriend, and siblings behind in California. The reason is because he was offered a scholarship to go to Columbia University which is in New York. And to top it off his family was dirt-poor so they couldn't afford anything. When Christmas came around he didn't even have the chance to head back home because he couldn't afford a plane ticket. So he was myself in his dorm room on Christmas

                                                                  My Aeries
I got a B on my test. I tried my best on the test but I was expecting to get a C on it I was surprised because since elementary I always had trouble writing. But then I actually remember that I took notes and paid attention while you gave the lecture. So I think doing that helped a lot. I think the reason I received this grade is because of the notes and that I also paid attention to the stories. Overall I think that the work I did paid of so I think I do deserve the B. All the work I've been doing in Dr.Preston's class I think I have tried to keep up and not fall behind and I think I deserve a B not an A because I haven't done all the blogs and and done the videos but not a C because I think I have been doing the work a lot.

                                                  Literature Analysis Questions #1
1.The plot of this novel is that there is a girl that decided to mute herself because she saw her dad kill her mother. And at the same time she meets this guy who's dad is dying because he has cancer.

2.I think that the theme of the novel is that no matter how hard things are someone out there has it worse. Another theme I came up with is that be strong because someone out there cares and loves you no matter what.

3. I feel that this girl gets up having such a horrible feeling everyday knowing that her father murdered her mother. Also she even witnessed it with her own eyes. She always seemed so depressed but who wouldn't be. She always want to talk with the other guy who's father is dying because of cancer. But he, he always wakes up and wonders if this day could be the day that he loses his dad. He even doesn't get sleep because he is scared if his dad might die overnight so he wakes up very tired. When he talks he seems that a big piece of him is missing. He always wants to be drunk so he would forget the fact that his dad id dying because every time he thinks of that he cries and has a panic attack.

4. The way I understood the story is that I tried to put myself in their place and the story was a lot more clearer. Also that the story so far has had loads of drama because her cousin doesn't want anybody to get close to her so they can hurt her cause she has suffered enough.
